Greetings! My name is Lisa and this here is the beginning of my attempt to record thoughts and the happenings I encounter. I've been wanting to document and share the uneventful events in my life that end up becoming wonderful memories, strike an emotion hinge, and are reminders of what a strange yet amazing world that we live in for some time now so here is my attempt! So alas, I begin!
Today is Sunday January 22nd, 2012. I am a Southern California native currently in my second year studying and experiencing life in San Francisco with high hopes of majoring in industrial design or interior design. It has been quite the experience living far off away from my family but I cherish every single memory, opportunity, and obstacle that has come from it. Currently, I am relaxing in my quiet apartment, with the occasional commotion of hollers coming from the neighbor's apartment due to the SF 49ers vs. NY Giants game. Sadly, Giants won which I find more disappointing after the thoughts come to mind of how more exciting SF would have become if they made it to the Super Bowl. I cannot describe how the city was after the SF Giants won the World Series in 2010! Talk about a community enthralled with bliss for weeks after. Anyways...I am taking advantage of the last day of winter break by enjoying a worry free, work free, and school-related free day before school starts once again (cue montage of clips and highlights from the glorious 5 week break accompanied by "I've Had The Time of My Life" by Bill Medley and Jennifer Warnes). It's been a nice break but school is starting and I have to admit that I am looking forward to a few of the classes I'm signed up for. We'll see if my opinion changes once I'm hard at work with the school grind. Is this boring you yet? haha I'm going to break it off here for now but I plan on posting again soon.
